Sally H. De Muth, age 81, of Green Bay, formerly of Saginaw, MI, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital, after a courageous year long battle with cancer. She was born October 15, 1936 in Saginaw, MI, daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice Herm.
Sally was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Saginaw, MI with the class of 1954. She went on to earn her Associate's Degree from Central Michigan College, Mount Pleasant, MI in 1956, where she was also a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Sally married Richard Baade, October 22, 1960 and they were blessed with a daughter, Tamara. Sally later married Robert De Muth, July 28, 1990 and they shared 26 loving years of marriage.
Sally worked as a service representative for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. and was the personal secretary to Hans Mackens at Mackens Pontiac for 20 years. Sally was the former President of the American Business Women's Association. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Green Bay.
Sally was an avid golfer and member of The Woods Ladies' Golf League and The Woods Couples' Golf League. She also enjoyed weekend trips to the family cottage in Fish Creek and playing cards, especially euchre. Sally is remembered as a loving wife and proud mother and grandmother.
Sally is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Tamara (Bruce) Westberg, Tuscon, AZ; grandchildren, Hunter and Logan Westberg and step-daughters, Mary (Casey) Zakowski and their children: Joe, Tom, Abby and Clare and Lucy (Jon) Murphy and their children: Alaina, Bridget, Jack and Riley.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Richard Baade, her sister, Jean (James) Mielke.
There will be a celebration of Sally's life at a future date for all those who have been touched by her life. Sally will be buried in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, MI.
