Ruth M. Hansen, 88, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013.
She was born March 13, 1924 in Green Bay to Richard & Hannah Sheriff.
Ruth was a graduate of West High School in 1942.
She married Herbert B. Hansen, he survives.
Survivors include a son, Patrick (Patricia Novotny) Hansen; two grandchildren, Kristen & Kyle; sister, Phyllis (Carroll) Tuttle; brother, Jerry Sheriff; many nieces and nephews; and her antiquing godchild, Sandy Gehrke.
She was preceded in death by her mother & father; her son, Tom Hansen; siblings, Robert & Irv Sheriff, Mary (Dick) Brock.
Ruth enjoyed antiquing, shopping, being outdoors, taking special care of her best friend, Marty, and meeting and socializing with all people.
Friends may call from 9:30 until 11:00am Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in Ruth's name.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ICU staff at Aurora Baycare Hospital.
