Ruth E. Jorgensen

Ruth E. Jorgensen, age 90, of Green Bay, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016. She was born July 10, 1926 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Carl "Bud" and Adell (Huebner) Jorgensen.

After graduating from Green Bay West High School, she worked in Washington D.C. for the FBI and then later for AT&T telephone company for 15 years. She moved back to Green Bay and worked in the pediatric ward at Bellin Hospital as a clerk until her retirement.

Ruth loved to travel and have fun with her friends and relatives. She especially enjoyed cheering on the Packers, as her father was the trainer for the Packers for 47 years.

Ruth is survived by her sister, Judy (Tom) Kuckkahn; niece, Kara Brandl; nephew, Bill (Gina) Kuckkahn; grand-nieces, Katy Brandl and Teagan Kuckkahn; grand-nephews, David Brandl and Jacob Kuckkahn and sister-in-law, Gloria Shea.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Gerald and William.

Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10 to 11:45 AM. A funeral ceremony will be held at 12 NOON. Interment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
