Ruth Janusiewicz, 93, of Mequon, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 18, 2022.
She was born in Appleton on January 2, 1929, to Leonard and Mae (Wilson) Janusiewicz.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in teaching elementary education and a French minor. She taught at Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin for 20 years. In April 1969 she married Stanley Janusiewicz, who passed away in March 2019. Together they raised Chris Janusiewicz.
She was an avid downhill skier, enjoyed the ballet and symphony's and traveling with Stanley. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her child, Chris (Kelly) Janusiewicz and grandchild Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Services to be determined at United Methodist Church, Mequon.
