Ruth Clara Holler, age 90, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born August 26, 1927 in Kellnersville, daughter of Joseph and Clara Chizek. Ruth was married to Herbert W. Holler for 66 years. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2015. Herb and Ruth shared a love of Door County where they had a summer home. She and Herbert were true Packer fans, season ticket holders for decades. She was a great bridge player and enjoyed her time with friends. She was a master gardener and loved to learn and share her knowledge of gardening with others. She was a volunteer at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens and Bellin Hospital. She also loved watching and feeding the birds and squirrels in her garden.
Ruth is survived by her 2 children: Mark (Allen) Holler and Janine (Ruth) Whitacre; 5 grandchildren: Anjanette Holler, Cameron Holler, Nathan Holler, Kristin Murray and Bryan Whitacre; sister, Jean Kolby, of Redding California and sister-in-law, Pat Holler of Manitowoc.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Newcomer- Green Bay Chapel, at 340 S. Monroe Avenue from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
