Russ L. Vorpahl, 65, Green Bay, left earth after a courageous battle with cancer on December 4, 2021. Russ is now with his heavenly family and truly a free spirit riding the highways of heaven.
He was born February 22, 1956 in Green Bay son of the late Donald and Sherry (Wilber) Vorpahl.
Russ loved to ride his motorcycle, was free spirited and enjoyed family time and gatherings. He loved hunting with his brothers in younger years. He liked to watch football, baseball and was an avid Packers fan.
He is survived by 3 sisters; Roxann Wyman, Kim Vorpahl of Green Bay, Lynn (Beako) De Grave of Lena; 1 brother, Berke Junion of Wrightstown; 1 grandson, Dylan, great-grandson, Everett; step-children, Juelz, Roy, Ernest, Marlita and step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, loved ones and friends.
Russ was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, son David, 4 brothers: Lee, Kevin, David, Steve, and his (lifetime partner) Karen Sommers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 1 PM - 4 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, a service will follow at 4 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
