Ruie Osborne

Ruie Osborne, 80, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 6, 2020. He was born to the late Roy and Mallie Osborne on February 4, 1940.

Ruie married the love of his life, Nancy, and they were blessed with one son, Robert. Ruie spent his life driving semis. He enjoyed life on the road and loved sharing stories of his travels with his family and friends. Ruie loved to watch sports, especially baseball and football. He was an Elvis fanatic. Ruie was a big dog-lover as well; he could always be found with one of his dogs by his side while sitting outside. Family was very important to Ruie and he loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.

Ruie is survived by his son, Robert (Michelle) Gauthier; two sisters: Marie and Reba; five grandchildren: Justine, Sam, Tyler and Mason and one great-granddaughter: Grace.

He is preceded in death by his parents and six brothers: Raleigh, Richard, Ruben, RC, Roger and Roland and two sisters: Frances and Carol.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, WI 54301) from 9 AM to 11 AM. A prayer service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will take place at the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.

Ruie's family would like to thank the staff at Unity Hospice for all of their compassion and care given to Ruie during this time.
