Rosemary A. Stein of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born March 12, 1923 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Mose and Eva (Brault) Rousseau.
Rosemary attended school in Green Bay and graduated from East High School. She married Wilfred Stein at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay, February 18, 1943 and they enjoyed 72 loving years of marriage. Together, Rosemary and Will built 6 homes, all designed by Rosemary. She worked as a receptionist for St. Vincent Hospital and also at Sears. Her greatest joy was being a grandma and great-grandma.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Will; her 2 children, Sharon (Bill) Dickey of Green Bay and Jim Stein of Milwaukee, WI; 4 grandchildren: Jon (Lauren), Mike (Rhonda), Brad (Elizabeth) and Scott (Leah) and 9 great-grandchildren: Kayla, Juliana, Austin, Devan, Camryn, Charlotte, James, Liam and Gabriel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sister Susan Stein and 2 sisters, Sister Isaac Jogues "I.J." Rousseau and Eunice (Marvin) Pero.
Friends and relatives may call Friday, May 1, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at St. Willebrord Parish (209 S. Adams St, Green Bay). A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Fr. Andy Cribben O. Praem officiating.
