Rose Gerstner

Rose Gerstner passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. She was born May 10, 1924 to the late Joseph and Ann (Rabas) Jerovetz.

She was employed at Pauly Cheese for over 30 years. After retiring, she went back to sewing. She worked for C. A. Gross, sewing for many years. She took great pride in her sewing.

Rose is survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Mirion Jerovetz, Michael (Marion) Jerovetz, Bernice (Harold) Micolichek, Richard (Marie) Jerovetz, Lovie (Michael) Kline, James "Jake" (Patsy) Jerovetz and Barbara Micalichek.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5 to 6 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6 PM. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. 

She wanted to say a special thank you to her niece, Barbara Micalichek and a very special friends, Shirley Bohland and Bea Mazur for always being there for her, and a very good neighbor, Chad Furmanex.

The family of Rose would also like to thank Dr. Jensen & staff, Dimensions Assisted Living for their care and compassion. Kayla thank you for your special care of Rose. Thank you, Carrie, Kathy, Megen, Jennifer (CNA) and all the girls that took care of her.
