Ronald "Butch" Walinski, age 74, a Green Bay resident, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at a local nursing home, with his family at his side. He was born March 26, 1943 in Green Bay, son of the late Louis "Louie" and Ruby (Latus) Walinski.
Butch worked at Diana Manufacturing (Kendall Company) for 29 years before retiring. Then to keep busy, he repaired lawn equipment. Anything you needed fixed or made for you, you went to see Butch. He enjoyed hanging out in his garage with his friends. Butch was a proud grandpa.
Butch is survived by his 3 children: Scott (Charlene) Walinski of Appleton, Karen Douglas of Green Bay and Kim (Rick Blosser) Walinski of Suamico; 5 grandchildren: Casey and Danielle Walinski, Abby, Ashton and Addasyn Blosser; 3 sisters: Sharon Gerarden, Judy Desotelle and Kathy (David) Micoley. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and his friend, Jim Depetro.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rick Walinski.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM.
