Ronald Marler, 70, of Green Bay, beloved husband of over 40 years to Jayne (Anderegg) Marler, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Bellin Memorial Hospital, with his wife at his side.

Ron was born on August 29, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL, son of the late Roy and Reba (Burrow) Marler. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in English from Olivet University in Chicago. Ron was a teacher at Ashwaubenon High School before beginning his career in the insurance industry. Throughout a long career in insurance, he had been part of several successful agencies, and most recently Alliance Insurance Centers. Through his years in business he built many meaningful relationships with both clients and colleagues.

Ron was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. In his spare time he enjoyed scuba diving with his boys. He enjoyed cooking, especially Sunday dinners for the whole family. During the past several years he and Jayne enjoyed spending time at their home in Florida and looked forward to visits from family and friends. Ron will be fondly remembered as sitting in his favorite chair with his best friends, Oscar, Ozzy, and Winston.

Ron will be sadly missed by his wife Jayne and their sons: Nick (Amy) Marler and Adam (Colleen) Marler, along with a beloved grandson, Ephraim. He also leaves a brother, Daryl (Kay) Marler and a sister, Marilyn (Bob) Sanders, a sister-in-law, Robyn Marler; in addition to several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ron is preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Marler.
