Ronald C. LeFevre, age 89 passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at St Mary's Hospital, Green Bay. He was born on March 9, 1934 to Bernard and Mildred LeFevre in Green Bay. Ron was united in marriage with Nona M. Mommaerts on August 13, 1955. Their marriage was blessed with three children. He worked for
Morning Glory Dairy (Foremost Farms) for over 30 years. Ron enjoyed his time at the cabin, walking through the woods with his huskies Keechi & Kimi, hunting & fishing. Gifted with a green thumb, Ron had a spectacular yard of flowers and plants. He belonged to the Green Bay Geology Club and the Red Wing Collector Society. He cherished his time spent at sporting & school events with his children & grand children.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Nona of 67 years, two children; Ronona Fairey of Minnesota and Steve LeFevre; grandchildren: Cole (Heidi), Dylan (Justine), and Cody (Brittney Eyman) Fairey, Kenneth and David Le Fevre, Victoria (Josh) Engels, Beau (Hannah Bridenhagen) Le Fevre, and Kari (Bryan) Compe; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Waylan, Connor, Logan, Vivian, Drew, Cameron and Callee; brother, James(Christine) Le Fevre, brother-in-law, Dale (Marilyn) Mommaerts, sister-in-law, Herminy Le Fevre; close family friends: Jill Le Fevre, Mary Taylor, David Fairey and Julie Diels; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Le Fevre and Mildred (Wiese) Zeugner, son, Eric Le Fevre, brother, Bernard Le Fevre Jr., sister, Shirley Carlson and granddaughter, Ronnie Rae Le Fevre.
Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, 340 S Monroe Ave on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 pm.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Pastor Robert Christman for his outstanding sermons over the years and his most welcomed visits to the family home. The family would also like to extend a thank you to Unity Hospice, St Mary's Hospital, GranCare, and Lee Vandenbusch for all their care, comfort and support that was provided to Ron & his family.
