Ronald Jandrin, age 70, of Crivitz, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 6, 1946 in Algoma, WI, son of the late Frank and Ida (Ferron) Jandrin and was a 1964 graduate of Green Bay East High School.
After graduation, Ron enlisted in the US Air Force and served his country honorable until his discharge in 1968. A month after his service in the military ended, Ron met Gail Holland and they were married February 14, 1970. Together shared 46 loving years together and raised 3 children.
Ron was employed as a welder for Tosca, Ltd. for 30 years, where he met many close friends. He retired from Tosca and began working at McKeefry Sand and Gravel as a heavy machine operator for 10 years. Ron later worked for Fox Valley Auto auction.
Ron was passionate about automobiles, especially hot rods. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ron also loved to cheer on his Green Bay Packers. Most of all, Ron was a loving husband, father and very proud grandfather. His sense of humor and all-around caring nature will be dearly missed.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Gail; 3 children: Tracy (Brett) Janus, Joey (Nikki) Jandrin and Cory (Gretchen) Jandrin; grandchildren: Tyler, Tristan, Lita, Jada, Trent, Hadalee, Rae Lee and Cole; 2 fur babies, Buddy and Charlie; brother, Darrell Jandrin; sisters, Carol Gerrits, Shari (Larry) Wagnitz and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, LaVerne; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Doris Holland; brother-in-law, Michael Holland and a nephew, Chad Wagnitz.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 4 to 6:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with full military honors.
Ron's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Massey at Froedtert Hospital and to the staff at Unity Hospice at Bellin Hospital for their care and support.
