Ronald (Ron) Enke, 61, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 12, 2021 after a 9 year battle with cancer. He was truly a warrior right to the end.
Ron was the youngest of five children born to Gilbert Enke and Shirley (Lenzendorf) Vogel on January 3, 1960.
Ron graduated from North Crawford High School in Gays Mills, WI in 1978.
Ron owned and operated Michael's Pub in Gays Mills until he realized his lifelong dream of owning a bar in Green Bay- Champions Sports Bar & Grill.
He was truly a #1 Packer fan. He enjoyed every Wisconsin team and watched the Bucks win it in 6!
Ron is survived by his wife of almost 17 years, Amy Enke, his son's Michael, Nicholas and Holden (Sabrina) Enke; his precious grandchildren: Grace, Autumn, Kinley, and Cullen Enke; his sisters Donna (Don) Gander, Diane (Tim) Briggs, and Sharon (Jeff) Swiggum; his brother Doug (Dana) Enke; his mother-in-law Marge (Gordon) Swiggum - Dull; sisters-in-law Lisa (Mike) Waldenburger, Sara (Tim) Fredrickson, and Lynn Swiggum. He is further survived by his former wife Sara Enke and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many great friends. And last but not least, his loyal best friend Jack.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Enke & Shirley Vogel, his step-father Keith Vogel and his father-in-law Paul Swiggum.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Ron's life which will take place at D2 Stadium District, 788 Armed Forces Drive, Green Bay, WI from 2 PM - 6PM .
