Roger Janus, 75, Green Bay, passed away with his family by his side Saturday, December 29, 2012. He was born May 3, 1937, in Green Bay, to the late Steven and Rose Janus. On February 23, 1963 he married the love of his life Claudette DuVal. Roger worked for the City of Green Bay for 30 years. He always enjoyed bowling, playing pool and lawn jarts, but most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Claudette; 3 children: Steven Janus, Melinda (Vic) Salm, and Julie Janus; 5 grandchildren; and brothers, sisters, many other relatives, and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.
Family and friends may call Thursday, January 3, 2013, at St. Joseph Church, 1224 12th Ave., Green Bay, from 9:00am until 11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Thursday at 11:00am, with Rev. Don Everts officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
