Rockne C. Rush

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rockne Charles Rush (Oconto, Wisconsin), born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 72. Rocky was born to Charles L. Rush and Shirley F. Rush (both deceased) on November 6, 1949. He had two sisters, Darla S. Felt (recently deceased) and Lorna Marheine (Jeremiah) who live near Oconomowoc, Wi. Rocky attended Oconto Falls High School and later earned a GED. Rocky married Bev Bostedt on May 25, 1985. They have one daughter Amy (Scott Monroe) and were blessed with eight grandchildren who loved to sit on "Papa's" lap. The Monroe children are Kira, Kenzie, Kyler, Kaydence, Kolby, Kasen, Kolt, and Kamden.
Rocky worked as a caregiver at several group homes in the Oconto Falls area. Bev said that Rocky had a sweet tooth and would ask after every meal "What's for dessert?". He was also an avid Packer fan. Rocky will be missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16th 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bayside Senior Apartments LLC (237 Cook Avenue, Oconto, Wisconsin 54153).
