Rocio Sanchez Gaytan, age 40, of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 1,1976 in Mascota Jalisco, Mexico, daughter of Guillermo and Irene (Gonsalez) Sanchez. Rocio moved to the United States in 1994.
Rocio met her husband and love of her life, José Gaytan at St. Willebrord Parish, Green Bay. She married José in June of 2000 at St. Willebrord Parish and together they shared 16 wonderful years of marriage and raised 3 children. She was a member of St. Willebrord Parish. Her faith was very important to her.
Rocio had all of the great qualities of a woman. José remembers her as an excellent wife and mother. There are no words to describe just how great she really was. Rocio was shy and easy-going-she got along well with everyone. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Mariachi music. Most dear to her heart was her family. She will be most dearly missed by all who knew her.
Rocio is survived by her husband, José; 3 children: Bianca, Luis and Julian; mother, Irene Gonsalez Sanchez; brothers: Apolonio, Aureliano, José Manuel, Leo, Umberto and Miguel; sisters: Livier, Rosa, Karla and Angélica and step-brother and sister, José Sanchez and Antonia Sanchez.
She was preceded in death by her father, Guillermo and a step-brother, Victor Sanchez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are appreciated.
