Robert Anthony Patrickus - Devoted father, brother, companion, and friend to many passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on November 25, 2021 at the age of 81. Robert (Bob) was born in Green Bay on August 6, 1940.
Bob was proudly awarded the rank of Eagle Scout and earned this merit from public service and badge achievements. He attended Catholic Central (Premontre) High School where he played basketball and baseball,and graduated from St. Norbert College. He was a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Valuations Analyst, Certified Management Consultant, Accredited in Business Valuation, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Accounting. He was a proud entrepreneur who owned and operated with his father General Bookkeeping and Tax Service; later on he opened R.A. Patrickus and Associates Accounting firm, and now it is known as Patrickus and Jones SC helping many businesses and clients for over 50 years. Bob was active at Resurrection Catholic Church parish in Allouez where his children attended grade school, and later was a parishioner of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Bob was an Accounting Professor at St. Norbert college, and taught for the state accreditation for continuing education for Certified Valuations Consultants for many years. Golf was Bob's passion playing in the league at Oneida Golf Club and later at Northbrook Golf course. Bob's favorite discussions were based on great times he had with his best friends from his golf. Bob was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and longtime season ticket holder.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Sylvester and Marian Patrickus.
Bob is survived by his three children Wendy Patrickus, Todd (Tracie) Patrickus, Shaun (Nancy) Patrickus. Longtime companion Melanie Horkman and her children Laura Ehmann and Jared Tetzner. His two brothers John (Sue) Patrickus and Marty (Kathy) Patrickus. Former wife Jane LeCapitaine Patrickus. He was the proud Grandfather to five grandchildren Jack, Madeline, Eve, Grace, Benjamin Patrickus. Dear friend to many.
Visitation held on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 427 St. John St., Green Bay, Wisconsin 54301. Wake from 10:00am to 12 noon and Funeral Mass to follow at 12 noon.
