Robert "Bob" Mueller, 75, of Green Bay, beloved husband of Joy (Miller) Mueller, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center.
Bob was born on March 10, 1942. He was the son of the late Rodger and Dorothy Mueller. He was a graduate of Preble High School and later served during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Air Force. He was an active member of the V.F.W. Winiecki Post #9677. Over his career Bob was employed with, Copps, N.E.W. Plastics and Algoma Hardwoods. Bob also ran a self employed business as a handyman. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, wood working, and making wooden signs. He loved animals especially his dogs Barney and Jake. Bob also owned numerous Ford Mustangs. Bob loved to spend time with his family especially his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He will be remembered most as an all around great guy who loved a good conversation and always had time for people.
He is survived by his wife Joy and four children: Sylvia (Joe) Van Den Busch, Angela (Cecil) Green, Jacquelyn (Corey) Phillips, and Bobbi (Ben Navigato) Mueller. Bob also leaves 14 beloved grandchildren: Tina, Lynn, Michael, Kayla, Melissa, Renee, Matthew, Brittany, Bella, Rylen, Myles, Peyton - Leila, Adaleine, and Teaghan, 9 great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and friends. Bob is preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Rylee Alvarez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue from 3 - 6 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM in the funeral home with full military honors to follow.
