Robert E. Loignon, 82, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on October 13, 2022.
He was born on November 5, 1939 to the late Alfred and Doris (Bennett) Loignon in Biddeford, Maine.
He attended St. Mary's Elementary School and Biddeford High School. He married Karen Rose Brzezinski on November 3, 1962. After graduation he came to Green Bay and worked for North Central Airlines and later for Delta Airlines for 40 years. He was proud to have run in the Boston Marathon. When he wasn't running, you could always find him at the YMCA, by his pool, or walking his dogs through the neighborhood.
He is survived by his caring and loving wife of 60 years (November 3, 1962) and his children and grandchildren: Pamela (Tim) Loignon, Paul (Lynn) Loignon, Jennifer (Bill) Walls, Jill (Dave) Gerber, and Robin (Christopher) Kalk. Grandchildren: Jordan and Maia Walls, Benjamin and Griffin Gerber, Jace and Amber Loignon, and Reese "Pee Wee" Kalk.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.
A private service will be held at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel and Burial in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
