Robert Franklin Graf, age 86, Green Bay, WI, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at his home. Robert was born August 7, 1937 to Argo and Naomi (Colson) Graf in Appleton, WI. He attended Hickory Grade School and then Oconto Falls High School, graduating Class of 1956.
After graduating high school, Robert joined the Army and served overseas in Germany from 1954-1956, during the Korean Conflict. Robert worked at Fort Howard Paper Mill from 1956-1968 and later sold real estate in Wisconsin, Arizona and Nevada for 35 years. In 1958, Robert married Carolyn and together they had six children before divorcing in 1990 after 32 years of marriage.
Robert enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and participating in Meals on Wheels. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion.
Robert is survived by his five children: Randy (Cathy) Graf, Greg (Susie) Graf, Tammy Stratton, Gary Graf and Doug (partner, Dean) Graf; grandchildren: Jeremy, Nick, Ashlee, Alex, Justice, Alicia, Nathan and Cassandra; great-grandchildren: Lennon,Vaughn, Quinn, Jayden, Cheyana, Carson, Cloe and his sisters, Patricia (Bob) Broetzman and Barbara Makoski. He is further survived by a brother-in-law, Ronnie Linzmeyer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, James "Jim" Graf; three sisters: Bernadette Schneider, Mary Jean Linzmeyer and Carol Ann (Robert) Smoot a brother-in-law, Joe Makoski.
Visitation will be held for Robert, Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 9 to 11AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 2771 Oakwood Dr., Green Bay, where Robert was a member since 1962. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Don Everts, celebrant, followed by full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the WI Humane Society Green Bay Campus in Bob's name are appreciated.
