Robert "Bob" John Miller, 82, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was born September 4, 1931, in Sheboygan to the late Edwin and Mable (Brost) Miller. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army; he was stationed in Guam during the Korean War. On January 27, 1954, Bob married the love of his life Carol Erickson. They celebrated 58 years together before Carol passed away on October 27, 2012.
Survivors include his three children, Diane (Dan Ambrosius) Williams, Mike (special friend, Gloria) Miller, and Patti (Pete) Seidel; grandchildren, Dawn (Chris) Rentmeester, Joseph (special friend, Wendy) Williams, Christine (special friend, Bill) Miller, Jennifer Seidel, and Jaimie (Tim) Green; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Nora Rentmeester, Joel Williams, Carley Miller, and Eli and Elayna Green; brothers, John (Clare) Miller and Jim (Pat) Miller; all of the Dhein Family; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; his parents; daughter, Mary Ann; son, Frederick; and two brothers, Dick and Jerry.
Family and friends may gather Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 4:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm with Rev. John Nehs officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
