Robert "Bob" D. Trudell age 81, of Townsend, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2015.
Bob was born at home in Gillet, WI on July 22, 1934, a son of the late Steven and Camille (Francois) Trudell. He graduated from St. Anthony's Catholic Grade School and attended Gillet High School. Bob joined the U. S. Air Force in 1952 and proudly served during the Korean Conflict. He was married to Beverly J. (Mocco) on May 9, 1959 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay and together they raised four children.
Bob belonged to the United Paperworker's International Union, Local 1321 and had a lengthy career with Green Bay Packaging as a pressman. He retired in 1995 after 39 years of service.
Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also enjoyed woodworking. He was particularly fond however of his grandchildren, and his dogs Sam and Cooper. He was a past member of the American Legion and the Boy Scouts of America.
Bob is survived by his children: Steven C. Trudell of Kewaunee, WI, Colleen M. (John) Royce of La Crosse, WI, Christopher R. (Jennifer) Trudell of Suamico and Jessica A. (Matthew) Jasmer of De Pere. He also leaves his grandchildren: Matthew and Adam, Brinkley and Heidi and Natalie and Leah as well as two great-grandsons Matthew, Jr. and Jackson. Further survived by his sisters Germaine "Geri" Turk of Crandon and Laverne (Bill) Parshen of Minocqua and a sister-in-law Dorthy Trudell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Beverly of 38 years, a brother Rodney Trudell and an infant brother Donald.
Friends and relatives may call on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 2 to 3:45 PM at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH (211 N. Maple Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54303) A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 4 PM with full military honors to follow. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
