Richard (Dick) V. Wicker, 82, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 16, 2015. He was born on April 5, 1932 in Glenmore, WI to the late James and Marie (Lasee) Wicker.
Richard is survived by his wife, Dorothy (VanDeWettering); son, Gary (Patricia) Wicker; daughters, Julie (Bryan) Gilow, Lynn (John) Boyle and Jean (Richard) Wypiszynski; step daughters Mary (Jim) VanderBloomen, Marcie VanDeWettering, Joan VanDeWettering and Patti VanDeWettering; 6 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, 8 step great-grandchildren; siblings Caroline Kocken and Catherine Gossen; sister-in-law Alice Wicker and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (O'Keefe) in 1981; an infant son (Joseph); 2 step-children; 3 brothers; 4 sisters and brothers and sisters in-laws.
He will be missed for his quick wit and his tender heart. He loved playing cards, cribbage and cheering on the Packers including being a Lambeau Field usher for 45 years.
Friends may call from 9:00 am until 10:15 am on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Saint Francis Xavier Parish, 220 S Michigan St, De Pere. Following visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Richard's name.
