Richard "Dick" Robert Thyrion, 76, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 peacefully at his home with his wife and daughter by his side. Richard was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on January 16, 1940 to the late Alex and Elizabeth(Peerenboom) Thyrion, Sr. He married Sharon Brunette on June 15, 1996 after a long courtship. Richard retired in 2009 from Green Bay Drop Forge after 45 years. Richard was a proud United States Marine and belonged to American Legion Post 518 for many years. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching the Packers, sitting around bonfires, long trips,, and spending time with his family... especially his grandkids.
He is survived by Wife, Sharon Thyrion, Daughter, Misty(Mike)Becker, Step-Daughters, Jackie Nooyen-Golec, Renee Nooyen, and Shelly Nooyen. Grandchildren, Chantel, Bonnie, Tiffany(Charles), Kimberly, Samantha, Darren, Dustin, and Michael(Christine). Siblings, Patricia Dury, Robert Thyrion, Sue Degrave, Tom Thyrion, Leonard(Sharon)Thyrion, Nancy(Larry)Huven, Roseanne(Russ)Kloehn, Judy(Edward)Charlier. Very dear friend, Buck Newbury. Also, many friends, nieces, and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his siblings Alex "Bucky", Alvin, Shirley Ann Thyrion, Hazel Zich, Jo Jo Santy, and Gary Nys.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 South Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, with a Funeral Service following at 11:00 am.
