Richard "Rich" W. Daniels, age 82, of Green Bay, passed away, Sunday, November 8, 2015. He was born September 3, 1933 in Plover, IA, son of the late Eugene and Ruth (Zimmerman-Gifford) Daniels.
Richard married the love of his life, Sylvia Johnson, September 22, 1951 and together they shared 42 years of marriage before she passed away, November 18, 1993.
There were many accomplishments in life, but he would rather be known for the love he had for his family, his deep faith in God and the good friends that got him through life. He had a love of conversation and knowledge, which he shared in his witty "weekly letter" that he emailed to those he held most dear. He had a great appreciation of music and loved to sing, watch his birds and wildlife from the window and traveling with family and friends. Most of all, he would want to acknowledge his everlasting love for his wife, Sylvia. They truly had a special bond.
Richard is survived by his children: Richard (Julie) Daniels, Rodney (Carol) Daniels, Lorie (Randy) Giese, Linda (Gary) Dudley, Lucinda (Joseph) Celmer, Randal (Tess) Daniels and David (Lucy) Daniels. He is further survived by 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Lila Fahrenkrog and Marion Nelson, a brother-in-law, Kenneth Johnson, a sister-in-law, Joyce Hauswirth; nieces; nephews and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia, whom he missed every day; his parents; a brother, Eugene Daniels and 4 brothers-in-law.
Rich will be missed and remembered by many.
Shalom.
