Richard D. Lawler, 66, of Green Bay, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on May 22, 2024. He was born on March 25, 1958 to Helen Alberts. Rick worked as a HVAC for Cool Sys. Rick was an avid Packer Fan, 24/7, 365 days a year. He also enjoyed all of the other Wisconsin sports teams, as the season changed so would the sports teams. Rick loved Brett Favre and borrowed the name for his furry best friend. Even in the off season, you could find Rick dressed in the best Green and Gold, keeping his love for the team year round.
Rick is survived by Debra Lawler, and his son, Payton Lawler, two step-children: Nicole (Jeremy) Hamill and their children: Brody, Dylan, Cash, and Jace; Nathan (Amanda) Marto and their children: Axle and Pyper; and further survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Alberts, and one sister, Linda (Jim) La Count.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, with funeral services at 5:00 pm.
