Loving father of Rick (Mary Beth), Cathy (Dave) Lacenski, and Cindy (Geno) Champeau. Cherished grandpa of Jason, JoAnne (Tone) Phipps, Ashley Lacenski, Mick (Ashley) Lacenski, Brad (Sarah) Champeau, and Bryan (Stephanie) Champeau. Dear great-grandpa to eight great-granddaughters. Also survived by many relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie and his daughter, Anne.
Richard was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and grew up there. He later met his wife, Marie, and they were married for 40 years before her passing. Together they created Jerovetz Auto Salvage where Richard was able to pursue his passion of being a mechanic. They ran Jerovetz Auto Salvage together for 27 years and through their work were able to create everlasting friendships.
Richard was an Army veteran who took great pride in serving his country.
Family would like to extend a special thanks to Algoma Long Term Care.
Private ceremony will be held for family.
