Richard "Dick" "Blackie" Neldner, 70, Crivitz, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was born February 18, 1943 in Green Bay to the late Edward and Guelda (Burkel) Neldner. Dick proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. On October 8, 1966 he married the love of his life, Gloria Trepanier at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Green Bay. Dick worked at Arrowcast Foundry for many years until his retirement in March of 2005.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, trapping, feeding his birds, especially his ducks, football, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Dick had a special bond with his little buddy, Ricky. He was a member and very active in the NRA.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Gloria; 3 children, Natalie (Bill Earley) Neldner, Wyatt (Jeanne Pallex) Neldner, and Corina (Dave) Kasper; 6 grandchildren, Nathan, Kayla, Tyler, Dylan, Ricky, and Dakota; "surrogate grandson", Jacob Feagles; 3 sisters, Mary "Weasie" VandenLangenBerg, Dolores (Gary) Cramer, and Barbara Demeny; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Kadinger and Patty (Tim) Warner; Godchildren, Shawn Demeny, Junior Trepanier, and Keith VandenLangenBerg; special friend, Butch Trepanier; special companion his basset hound, "Angel Baby" who never left his side; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sons, Richard Jr., Edward, and Nathan Neldner; twin infant brothers; brothers-in-law, Jerry VandenLangenBerg and Mike Demeny; and parents-in-law, Jeanette and Wilburt Trepanier.
Family and friends may call Friday March 22, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00pm. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Howard.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
