Randy D. Voelker, age 65, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee. He was born June 21, 1954 in Green Bay, son of the late William D. and Mary "Jo Jo" (Heck) Voelker and was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1973.
Randy was a very devout Catholic and a faithful parishioner of both St. John the Evangelist and St. Willebrord Parishes. He was an active volunteer at both Parishes, as well. In addition to his volunteer work at the churches, he also volunteered many hours at Meals on Wheels. Randy worked as a retail clerk for many years at Holzer's Drug Store. Randy was talented in the kitchen and worked for many years in the kitchen at Best Western. He also worked in maintenance at many area Laundromats.
Randy was a very well-known man in the Green Bay community helping Senior Citizens. The senior community held a very special place in Randy's heart. He was also very fond of his 3 dogs, Susie, Lady and Sam.
Randy is survived by 4 siblings: Becki (Dick) Starry, Stan (Joanne) Voelker, Tim (Sue) Voelker and Tammy (Dan) VandenBush and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Steve (Chris) Voelker.
Visitation will be held at St. Willebrord Parish (209 S. Adams St., Green Bay), Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 9 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Fr. Andy Cribben, O. Praem, celebrant and Fr. John Girotti, con-celebrant. The family kindly requests that you wear a facial covering to ensure the health and safety of all in attendance. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
