Randy Benz

August 2, 1963 — July 15, 2021

Randy Benz, 57, passed away peacefully with wife by his side on Thursday, July 15, 2021. He was born on August 2, 1963 in Green Bay, WI.

Randy attended East High School and went on to work at Pomp's Tires for 17 years before retiring in 2017. On December 7, 2018 he married the love of his life, Hope Presti, at the Watering Hole in Green Bay. At that moment, Randy became a father to Caroline and raised her as his own. Randy was an avid bowler, comedian, proud Packers fan, enjoyed fishing, and loved to travel; one of his favorite trips being driving to Myrtle Beach with Hope and Caroline. He also enjoyed grilling out in his backyard and admiring the wild life in his front yard. Since he was young, Randy and his brother, Rick, always had a love for fire trucks and they both loved to watch them drive by as well as listen for them on their scanners. He really enjoyed spending Thanksgiving with his sister, Bonnie and her family as well as spending time in the Minocqua area with Hope's side of the family. One of Randy's best memories growing up was when his dad would come home with fresh bread and getting tickled by his mom for riling up Toby the dog. Family and his faith in Jesus Christ was everything to Randy, he was a great husband, brother, and uncle.

Randy is survived by his wife, Hope; daughter, Caroline; siblings: Bonnie (Dave) Draeger, Rick (Debra) Benz; in-laws: Chris (Robin) Dinzy, Sarah Dinzy, Rhonda Lincoln; mother-in-law, Margaret Lincoln; nieces and nephews: Kristi Draeger and her children: Charlotte, Owen, and Vernon; Kendal (Adam) Weber and their children: Autumn, Khloe, and Jack; Nicole, Nathan, and Colleen Benz; Rachel, Raylon, Ajah, Anisha, Amaya and Akayla; Misti Dawn, Alyssa and Chase Dinzy; John Avery; as well as extended family in Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Mary Jane (Tenor) Benz, and infant sister, Connie.
