Rachel M. Kasbohm, 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, June 7, 2014.
She was born on June 11, 1939, in Sturgeon Bay, WI, to the late Nora & Evangeline Fameree.
Rachel owned and operated Grandma's Place Restaurant. She later owned the Sky Lit Motel until her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time in her yard with her husband, and they worked many hours gardening and landscaping together. She enjoyed the comfort of her dog, Cricket.
Rachel loved spending time with her grandchildren, she was happiest when they were around and loved teasing them.
Survivors include her husband, Eddy Scott; children, Tami Darby, Craig (Christine) Kasbohm, and Cary (Shannon) Kasbohm; grandchildren, Victor, Douglas, Andrea, Dustin, Louis, Colton, Andrew, Mitchel, and Alyssa; two great grandchildren; and siblings, Carol, Terry, Randy, and Jill.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Trina Kasbohm; sister, Donna; brother-in-laws, Ray and Mark.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 10:00am until the time of service at Noon. *(Monroe Ave., is closed. Access to funeral home is available off Madison St., One Block West of Monroe Ave.,)* Burial will be in Mill Centre Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Heartland Hospice for the care and concern during the past few months.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
