Phyllis J. Francies

Phyllis J. Francies, age 72, of Green Bay, passed away at her home on November 24, 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born on July 12, 1952 to Emmitt and Beulah Mason in Sullivan, IN. Phyllis worked as a housekeeper at Woodside Oaks for over 30 years, before retiring 8 years ago. She enjoyed shopping, playing games and watching old movies.

Phyllis was a devoted mother to Stephen and Tina, her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better. 

She took special joy in all her grandchildren and great-grandchild. They always had fond memories of Christmas time, particularly because they were always spoiled with gifts.

She was deeply loved and will not be forgotten.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Stephen Francies Sr., her two children; Stephen (Jennifer) Francies, Jr. and Tina (Keith) Van Handel, her 5 grandchildren; Amanda, Kristin, Sean, Kayla and Trevor, and a great-grandchild; Landon. She is further survived by her sister-in-laws; Linda Mason, Victoria Mason, Judi Mason, Renee (Heinz) Florin, Catherine (Steve) Wagner and Rebekah (Clint) Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her five siblings; Barbara, Paul, Shirley, Larry and Darrell.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 9, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Newcomer (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301). With Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 pm.
