Phyllis "Duegie" DeKeyser,

Duegie left for heaven on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Born August 3, 1947 to Evelyn "Obie" (Copisky) and Clifford "the Govenor" Nelson at Door County Memorial Hospital.

Duegie was an active member in Sevestapol Schools in her younger years, where she met her first husband William "Bill" Frea. The couple married in May of 1965, bringing two sons into the world, Allen and Dean.
The couple owned and operated the "Cherrie Bowl" from 1972 through 1983 when they divorced and sold the neighborhood "meet n greet" icon.
Later in life, Duegie married Mark DeKeyser and worked at Best Western, Mc Donalds, and Door County Memorial Hospital. Retiring in 2001, Duegie owned several businesses and restaurants in Dykesville and the Green Bay areas.

Duegie is survived by her two sons, Allen and Dean; sister, Pat Patza; nieces and nephews, Lori, Scott, Gina, Cary, and Michelle, along with many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark DeKeyser; her parents; nephew, Eric Patza along with beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private celebration will be held by immediate family and friends.
