Peter F. Berceau, 85, of Luxemburg, beloved husband of 60 years to Theresa (Koslowski) Berceau, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at home peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Green Bay to Timothy and Minolia (Carey) Berceau on June 8th or 9th 1936 and enjoyed celebrating both dates. Peter was a graduate of Central Catholic High School class of 1955. He enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served as a Lineman in the Signal Corps obtaining the rank of Specialist. He met Theresa and they were later married on September 2, 1961 at St. John the Baptist Church in Howard. He was employed for over 30 years at Diana Mfg. He met many good friends through his years there, and retired in 1993.

Peter enjoyed keeping horses for many years. He and his wife also had a buck board wagon, carriage, and sleigh and enjoyed many rides with family and friends throughout the years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting which allowed him even more time to spend with family and friends. Peter enjoyed traveling, his last big trip was to Ireland with family. In his retirement he enjoyed building bird houses, wagons and other things. Peter enjoyed watching sports, especially his children and grandchildren, and was a very strong and active member of the LC Wrestling Club. He enjoyed the county fair and his daily breakfast sandwich. He was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. He will be remembered most as a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

He will be forever remembered by his wife Theresa and their five children: Martin (Laura) children: Kevin, Malorie, Emily; Lyle (Lynn) children: Nathan, Katherine, Jena, Anna; Don (Angie) children: Nicole, Jessica, Stephanie, Dylan; Bob (Shelly) children: Danielle, Mitchell, Mason, Demirae; Carolyn (Jeff) Ronsman children: Jenny, Amanda, Matthew, Rebecca. He also leaves 3 sisters: Kate (Bill) Bowman, Susan (Chuck) O'Connor, and Lois Servais, a sister-in-law, Jackie Berceau, along with 25 great grandchildren with two more on the way! Peter also leaves many nieces, nephews, Theresa's family, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Claude (Susie), Mary (Jay) Shipla, Darrell (Toni), Doris (Russell) Cotts, Janet, Margie (Glenn) Schiebel, Betty (Bob) LeFebvre, Lyle (Marie) Zenz, Jim Zenz, George Zenz, Patrick (Katie), and Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23rd at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Sugarbush from 9 AM - 11 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial with full military honors will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
