Pearl Gerondale, age 89, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 18, 1933 in Dykesville, WI, daughter of the late Ben and Lillian (Busche) Englebert and was a graduate of Luxemburg High School, Class of 1950.
Pearl married Nils Gerondale, November 3, 1956 at St. Louis Parish, Dykesville. Pearl and Nils celebrated 66 years of marriage and were blessed with 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
After Nils retired from the furniture business, Pearl and Nils spent their winters in Panama City Beach, FL. During their last winter together, their family surprised them with a visit, where lasting memories were made. Pearl was an avid golfer, bowler and loved playing cards. She also enjoyed watching game shows and solving puzzles. First and foremost, Pearl was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandma and "Great-Nana".
Pearl is survived by her husband, Nils; her 5 children: Bryan (Betsy), Brad (Isabel), Beth (Craig) Charles, Bruce and Dean (Tonja); 10 grandchildren: Jill (Nick), Mallory (Scott), Aaron, Dustin (Tabatha), Taryen (Matt), Andrew (Krista), Mitchell, Alyssa, Alexander and Bailey; 8 great-grandchildren: William, Jack, Blake, Zoey, Brayden, Jacob, Jeanette and Coleson and 2 siblings, Larry (Joan) and Bonnie (Wes). She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Bea, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by 5 siblings: Rosabelle (Dick), Arnold (Merce), Bernice (Russell), Dale and Joyce.
Visitation will be held at St. Louis Parish (N8726 County Line Rd., Dykesville, WI), Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Abbot Gary Neville, celebrant. Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
