Paul B. Plog, age 89, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
He was born in Green Bay on November 2, 1931, the son of Edward and Luewella Plog. Paul was married to Carol Ryczkowski on September 13, 1958. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949 and with the 1953 class of St. Norbert College. He served with the Army Engineers during the Korean War and was granted a top secret security clearance and worked with an Intelligence Unit in Germany and then continued working as an Engineer in New York, New Jersey and Venezuela. He retired from the US Postal Service in 1987.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and one brother, Edward (Dorla) and one sister, Patricia (Erv Wright) and three grandchildren: Edward Karl, Elizabeth Carol, and Paul Michael.
Paul is survived by three children: Karl (Gloria Blasczyk), Ruth Hogan, Sarah (Greg Sherwin), four grandchildren: Abbey (Billy) Hilliard, Michael Hogan, Chris (Brittany) and Taylor (Erin) Plog, and one great-granddaughter, Harper Hilliard. He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Evelyn Brodie, and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held by Paul's family at a later date. Paul will be laid to rest next to his wife, Carol, at the family plot in Pulaski, WI.
