Paul Massey, 84, of Green Bay and formerly of Racine, departed this life on Tuesday, December 4, 2019 at the Green Bay Treatment Center where he was a long time resident.
Paul was born on October 14, 1934 in Clyde, OH son of the late Walter and Martha (Stacey) Massey. After high school he obtained his degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in Education later obtaining his Masters in Education at University of Buffalo in New York. Throughout his career he taught Elementary through High School. He was a math and physics teacher at Prairie School and later retired from St. Bonaventure in Sturtevant, WI. In his spare time he was an avid fisherman, deer hunter, coached high school basketball and belonged to Barbershop Quartet and Singing Choirs. Paul enjoyed was watching Star Trek and science fiction movies. Paul was a true scientist.
He is survived by four children: Trudy Brady, Myra Norwood, Matthew (Vicki) Massey, and Sarah (Todd) Ehret. Paul also leaves 8 grandchildren: Matthew, Kyra, Allie, Aaron, Ethan, Lydia, Samuel, Noah, and Melissa, along with great grandchildren: Mason, Liam, Jack, Kassidy, and Ivan. He leaves a sister-in-law, Kyle Massey along with numerous extended family, collegues, and and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10th from 3 PM - 5 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel with a Memorial Service to follow at 5 PM in the funeral home.
