Paul Hecker

July 26, 1967 — October 21, 2024

Paul G. Hecker, age 57, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Green Bay, July 26, 1967, son of George and Elaine (VanderKelen) Hecker and was a graduate of Ashwaubenon High School, Class of 1985.

After graduation, Paul continued his education at NWTC and was trained in various trades. This training served him in his life, as he was a talented fabricator, currently employed by Fourinox. He was also able to help family and friends with many of the repairs and projects they needed help with, except for cutting the lawn!

Paul was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, passing his love for these hobbies down to his children. He had many fond memories staying out on Lake Michigan with Missy and his beloved canine companion, Stroker.

Paul is survived by his children: Travis (Brianna) Hecker, Ryan (Maddy) Hecker and Amber Hecker; his grandson, Ethan Hecker; his significant other, Melissa Kontny; his mother, Elaine Hecker and 2 siblings: Dennis (JoAnn) Hecker and Steve (Brenda) Hecker. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Hecker, his nephew, Cole Hecker and his dog, Nacho.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Monday, October 28, 2024 from 4 to 7 PM.

Paul's family would like to thank the nurses on the 9th Floor at St. Vincent Hospital and his coworkers at Fourinox for their support, care and compassion.
