Paul H. Bishop, 43, New Franken, passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, March 31, 2013 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
He was born on June 27, 1969 in Green Bay, WI to William N. & Olive M. Bishop.
Paul's trade in life was carpentry, home repairs and home building.
He enjoyed wood working, the outdoors, tractor rides with his kids, and being with family and friends.
Paul married Tara Monnier on May 8, 1993 in Green Bay, she survives. Survivors include two children, Isabel & Mark; siblings, Barb (Jeff) Schuessler, John Bishop, Jim (Terri) Bishop, Carol Bishop, Mary (Dan) O'Brien, Rose (Pat) Rottier, and Gene (Tammera) Bishop; father-in-law, Michael (Karen) Monnier Sr.; sister-in-law, Michelle Monnier; brothers-in-law, David (Charlene) Monnier and Michael (Lori) Monnier Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Olive Bishop; brother, William "Bill" Bishop; and mother-in-law, Eileen Weidner.
Friends may call from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 430 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. Visitation will continue from 9:30am until 11:00am on Friday, April 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Parish, Champion, 5996 County Road K, New Franken, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at the church with Rev. Andrew Kurz officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
