Paul J. Gubics

Paul J. Gubics, Age 73, passed away on December 25, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1948 in Ohio the son of the late Gizella (Kall) and Stephen Gubics. Paul proudly served our Country in the Navy for three tours between the years of 1968 until 1989. He was united in marriage to Helen Arendt in 2009 in De Pere. Paul enjoyed old westerns, Gun Smoke and Duke Wayne were some favorites. He was an avid Packer fan and always had his favorite shirt ready for game day. Paul and Helen always enjoyed their time spent together whether here or in Florida, and traveling to many car shows.

Paul is survived by his wife, Helen, three sons: Greg and Jeff (Sandra) Gubics and their mother, Lynn; and Michael (Stephanie) Gubics; seven step-children: Tina Thompson, Lisa (Steven) Muehrcke, Jennifer Nowak, Val Thompson, Bob Thompson, Tai Thompson, and Lehua Collins; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers: Steven "Skip" (Jean) Gubics and Bob (Eileen) Gubics, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, previous wife, Kathleen, two sisters: Elaine and Gail; and step-daughter, Brenda Arendt.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S Madison St, Green Bay; from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Facemasks are required.

The family would like to thank the nurses at St. Vincent 9th Floor for all their care and compassion while he was there.
