Patrick D. Liedeka, age 79, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born August 22, 1942 in Green Bay, son of the late Harry and Helen (De Wane) Liedeka and was a 1960 graduate of West High School.
Pat enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1964, proudly serving his country until his honorable discharge. Pat was an accountant for PCMC, retiring in 2005. He married Mary Neidl, May 26, 1995 and they shared 26 years of marriage, raising their blended family together.
Pat enjoyed tinkering in his shop, watching football, traveling with his family and playing various games. He was a history buff, especially knowledgeable about WWII History.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Mary; his 3 children: Mike (Jill Verhaagh) Liedeka, Cathy (Jeff) Vassallo and Jennifer (Craig) Hanson; his 2 step-sons, Robert (Tina) Neidl and Jay Neidl; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Jackie Reed and Joan (Dennis) Philibeck. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Erich "Chick" (Mary) Liedeka; brother-in-law, Bill Reed and mother-in-law, Kate Smith.
Visitation will be held at Resurrection Parish (333 Hilltop Dr., Green Bay), Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12 NOON. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 NOON with full military honors. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
