Patrick J. Borta, age 58, of De Pere, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017.
He was born on November 4, 1958 in Green Bay to Milton & Eunice (Verhagen) Borta.
Pat worked as a sues chef for the Ramada and the Wellington before working as a purchasing manager for American Foods until he was unable to because of illness.
He was a diehard Packer Fan and was a season ticket holder, loved to cook and watch cooking shows, and loved his dogs, Rosie & Josie.
Patrick married Linda M. Janssen on October 16, 1993. She preceded him in death on July 13, 2013.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa M. Pfluger; brother, Ed Borta; sisters, Diane (Ron), Karen (James), Jackie, Kathy and Patty; in-laws, Ken & Donna Janssen, brother-in-laws, Ken & Barb Janssen and Jeff & Jill Janssen; sister-in-law, Sue & Dave Woodke; cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his parents; sister-in-law, Linda L. Borta.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service at 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. Entombment will be at Shine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. To leave a message for the family, please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com.
