Patrick Bitters, 79, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Oconto Falls, WI. He was born in Green Bay, March 17, 1943, son of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Gille) Bitters and was a graduate of Green Bay West High School.
Pat worked for the City of Green Bay as a truck driver until he retired. Patrick loved to tinker around the house and loved watching his Westerns. He enjoyed cheering on the Packers and the Brewers with his family and going to breakfast at the Golden Basket.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 54 years, Delores; son, Alan Bitters; daughters, Wendy (Peter) Hoffman and Kelly Bitters; 3 grandchildren: Dylan, Gabrielle (Xavier Sturzl) and Ethan Hoffman; brother, Richard (Cheryl) Bitters and a sister, Jody Bitters. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law, Shirley Bitters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM with full military honors.
Pat's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staffs of Meadowbrook Nursing Home and Unity Hospice for their excellent care.
