March 17, 1939 — August 8, 2024

Patrick Biersteker, age 85, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, WI, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 8, 2024. He was born in Green Bay on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1939, son of the late Joseph and Esther (Tiller) Biersteker.

He was employed by the Green Bay & Western Railroad for over 30 years before he retired due to a Leukemia diagnosis.

During retirement, Pat kept busy as a stay at home grandpa and spent many hours volunteering at St. Mary of the Angels Parish. His tasks at the church included snow removal, lawn maintenance and assisting with their annual church picnic. Pat was a second dad to both family and friends. He shared his knowledge and talents as a repairman, which demonstrated his willingness to help anyone in need at any time. Pat cherished the time he spent at his cottage in Lakewood, WI, a legacy his family will remember and enjoy for generations.

Patrick is survived by his sons, Mitchell Biersteker and Gary (Kathey Phillips) Biersteker; 2 granddaughters, Danielle (Scott Patridge) Biersteker and Stephanie (Jack Verville) Biersteker; a great-grandson, Cayden Biersteker-Cordova and 2 siblings, Roger Biersteker and Janet Stangel.
