Patricia A. King, 91, of Green Bay, passed away on April 14, 2025 at Allouez Senior Living.
She was born on January 29, 1934 to Ralph and Esther (Sorenson) Geyer in Green Bay. On February 16, 1952, she married Kenneth James King. Pat and Ken raised 6 children during their 62 years of marriage. Pat worked as the Store Manager for the Lullaby Shop until retirement. She made friends with all her customers and enjoyed watching their families grow. One of her greatest joys was receiving a signed football by the Packers from Bart and Cherie Star at Christmas. They appreciated all her work and commitment to the Packer player's families.
Pat and Ken enjoyed a cabin that Ken built at Lee Lake with family and friends until retirement. During retirement Pat and Ken traveled extensively. Pat cherished the Christmas season and all holidays with family gatherings for dinner. She was a great cook and gardener.
Pat is survived by her loving children: Michael King, Kathleen (Charles) Cary, Patricia (special friend, Robert Ashton) Ashton, Julie Smith, Sheri King, and Chris King; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, one sister, Carolyn Holzem, two brothers-in-law, Larry (Carol) King and Michael Corbeille, and one sister-in-law, Sandra King; she is further survived by her lifetime friends: Pat Jubert and Jean Posey; also many nieces, nephews, and other dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Kenneth James King, and many brothers, sisters, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave. with friends and family visiting from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm with funeral service following at 1:30 pm.
Private Entombment will take place in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
