Patricia Johnson

Patricia (Pat) Johnson, age 88, passed away on June 14, 2022 after a short illness. She was born on March 17, 1934 to Donald and Mable Smith in Wrightstown, WI. She met the love of her life, Willard (Bill) Johnson, at a local dance where their story together began. Many "ears" witnessed the marriage proposal, right alongside a cornfield. Pat and Bill were married on April 27, 1957. After the wedding, Bill tried for a son, but they were blessed with 4 wonderful daughters instead. While raising their children, Pat also worked as a registered nurse; a career which she was extremely proud of and very talented at. After retirement, Bill and Pat enjoyed special time "up north" at the cottage, traveling the US by car, and spending time with the grandchildren.
Pat was an avid prayer warrior and took on the charge of praying for all her loved ones during her daily devotions. Pat most enjoyed visits from family, neighbors, and church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Willard Johnson, daughters: Faye Johnson and Lori Fayas, and her parents: Donald and Mable Smith. She leaves behind daughters: Kim DeCleene and Lynn Johnson (special friend Richard Julian), Brothers: Paul Smith (Monica Smith) and Ronald Smith (Madeline Smith) and Son's-in-law Daniel Doro, Mark DeCleene, Steve Fayas, and Mark Cookle, along with 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 am on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Journey Community Church, 1800 Grant St, De Pere, WI 54115. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Schmechel and Pastor Paul Smith officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
