Patricia M. Collins, 92, Green Bay, passed away with her family by her side, Sunday, June 24, 2012. She was born November 28, 1919, in Green Bay to the late Peter and Marie (Neioul) Collins. Pat was a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for many years. Pat worked for the United States Federal Government for over 40 years until her retirement and then went on to work at a local insurance company until age 72. Pat was very proud to be an Aunt and is survived by many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her.
She is survived by nieces and nephews: Patrick (Sandy) Schuette, Michael (Susan) Schuette, Mark Steidtmann, Mary Wetherbee, Daniel (Layla) Schuette, Sara (Fran) Pirman, Barb (Thom) McGovern, Rick (Cindi) Sommers, Patti (Rich) Weronka, and Susan (Brian) Gerhartz; great-nieces and great-nephews: Jennifer Damp, Jonathan Tease, , Rick (Ashley) Sommers, Matt McGovern, Megan (Josh) Brzezinski, Kristin (Jon) Shane, Nick, David, Nathan, Lauren, and Elizabeth Schuette, Ben Wetherbee, Britney and Jack Weronka, Leah and Michael Pirman, and Jake Gerhartz; and great-great-nephews: Thomas Wilson, Anthony Damp, Ricky and River Sommers, and baby, Finn Brzezinski.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty (Norbert) Schuette and Theresa (Richard) Sommers; and 3 nieces, Kathy Steidtmann, Cindy Schuette, and Clare Ann Sommers.
Family and friends may call Thursday, June 28, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral (address), from 10:00am until 11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral on Thursday, at 11:00am with Rev. Brian Belongia officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
