Patricia Brunner

July 16, 1930 — March 11, 2022

Patricia "Pat" Brunner, 91, of Green Bay, WI, beloved wife of the late Melvin M. Brunner, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 11, 2022.

Pat was born on July 16, 1930 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Edwin and Lillian (Lindell) Allen. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy class of 1948. She met Mel at the Bay Beach Pavilion at a dance. They were later married on September 12, 1953. She retired after over 30 years of service in the Medical Records Department of St. Vincent Hospital. Pat then continued her career at Green Bay Public Schools working as an Administrative Assistant.

Pat and Mel, both avid Packer fans, are fondly remembered by all for "family, friends and fun"! In their spare time they enjoyed traveling, camping, square dancing, card clubs, entertaining at home, and spending time with their beloved family. They had spontaneous spirits and lived life to the fullest. Pat enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bead work, and sewing club with her high school friends. Pat's faith was very strong and she was a long time member of St. John the Evangelist Church and later St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Her greatest legacy is that of her family and she will always be remembered as a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Her spirit will live on with her children: Mary Jo (Lee Koeller) Zeise, Kathleen (Anthony) Balistreri, Lynn (Steve) Nys, Allen (Jeanine) Brunner, and Holly (Marc) Rupnow. Pat also leaves her beloved grandchildren: Andy (Angelique) Van Sistine, Mike (Kasie Von Haden) Van Sistine, Jessica (Jason) Kipp, Josh Nys, Brenton Garcia, Devon (Marissa) Garcia, Cody (Neah) Brunner, Kelly Brunner, Caitlyn Rupnow, Mitchell Rupnow, and Amir "Balistreri". She also leaves great grandchildren: Jacoby Van Sistine, Isaac Van Sistine, Holden Kipp, and Bennett Kipp. Pat is survived by a brother, James (Ann) Allen, her niece and godchild, Julie (Steve) Monroe and nephew, Tom Allen. Pat also leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16th from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 PM with Fr. Paul DeMuth as Celebrant. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

Pat's family wishes to extend their deep gratitude to Aurora for the many years of care provided and Unity Hospice for their compassionate care in her final day.
