Patricia Ann Dederich (Swiecichowski) has gone to God surrounded at home by loved ones on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. She was born on December 30, 1946, to the late Dennis Sr. and Catherine (Jones) Swiecichowski. Pat was the second eldest of nine children. She is survived by her brothers Dennis Jr., Mark, Joseph, and John Swiecichowski, along with sisters, Roberta Schneider, Judith Camp, Marcia Lemmens, and Linda Jacobs, and many nieces and nephews.
Pat married her true love, Dale, on August 5, 1967. Together they raised three children Peter, Dale Jr., and Denise who learned that it was acceptable to be kind to all, to strive at life goals, and just be smart at whatever path was chosen. Pat blessed her family with her generosity while enjoying achievements through work, bowling, knowing every answer on Jeopardy, and much more. She left behind a legacy of family and joy that will be shared through her grandchildren Erin and Amy (Peter & Kristine Dederich), Jordan and Scott (Dale & Lori Dederich) and Keith and Jeff (Denise VandenLangenberg).
Pat changed lives for the positive and had a large extended family including friends, co-workers, and those who had the pleasure of having her in their lives. Whether it was going for bowling a perfect 300, being inducted in the Bowling Hall of Fame twice, excelling at her job at Humana (where she retired in January 2013 after 25 years), or being a loving grandmother, mother, and wife, Pat will be cherished forever in the hearts of many. Patricia passed away at 6 am on Wednesday which is the same time she had normally gone in to work. Having touched many lives, her work here is done. Having been a friend to many, a confidant to more, and a role model to most, her wish is that those that she knew and loved will carry on her shining light. To honor Pat's wishes, she asked that everyone that is able to please donate blood in her name.
Friends may call from 2-5pm on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A funeral service will be at 5pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful, caring professionals at Unity Hospice, St. Mary's Hospital, and Rennes Rehab Facility.
